Duhyeong Hwang

Duhyeong is a postdoctoral research associate in the Kabanov group. He attended Yeungnam University in South Korea where he received his bachelor (2009) and master degree (2011) in industrial pharmacy. He obtained his doctoral degree in pharmaceutical science (2020) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill under the supervision of Prof. Alexander V. Kabanov.

Duhyeong’s ongoing research interests include the following:

• Polymeric micelle for poorly soluble therapeutic drugs with high loading capacity
• Development of novel block copolymer with functional side chains for drug delivery
• Multi-drug loaded polymeric micelle system for multi-drug solubilization and combination therapy
